Business operation and/or activities have an obligation to install and operate SPARING. This obligation is stated in Article 14 of the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.93/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/8/2018 Jo . Number P.80/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/10/2019 concerning Continuous and In-Network Wastewater Quality Monitoring for Businesses and/or Activities.
SPARING is an automatic, continuous and in-network monitoring system, which is used to monitor, record and report on activities to measure the level of a parameter and/or the discharge of wastewater into medium of water.
PT Kideco Jaya Agung commitment to environmental management and monitoring has installed SPARING in the Settling Pond and periodically maintains and tests the feasibility of SPARING equipment. The feasibility test in the form of a hardware performance test is carried out by a laboratory appointed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia.
The benefit of SPARING is to ensure the availability of wastewater quality result data in real time for pH, TSS & Discharge parameters and continuously for a long period of time. Monitoring results for 24 hours every day and connected to the Ministry of Environment & Forestry server. The existence of SPARING can provide real-time information to take corrective or preventive measures in wastewater management and facilitate operators in the field, both in operation, maintenance and data reporting.
