We implement strategies such as energy efficiency, emission reduction innovation, reclamation activities, and the use of renewable energy sources. Control and reduction of GHG emissions involves monitoring and measuring emissions from heavy equipment operations in mining and coal transportation processes.
KIDECO also calculates Scope 2 emissions from PLN electricity purchases, following Ministerial Regulation of Environment and Forestry No. 4/2014 and GHG Protocol guidelines. Emission control includes ambient air quality monitoring with an external laboratory standardized by KAN and registered with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 22/2021 on Environmental Protection and Management.
