To maximize sustainable business operations, Kideco has formed 3 specialized departments: Mining Innovation & Digitalization (MID) focusing on digitizing operational and production processes, Business Process Improvement & Technology (BPIT) focusing on developing the company’s management system and digital infrastructure and ESG Department focusing on creating roadmaps and measurable performance management for Environment, Social and Corporate Governance aspects.

This system streamlines information delivery, problem-solving, and decision-making. It enhances safety and supports the implementation of good mining practices. Kideco digitizes its mining operations process using an application for geotechnical analysis, mine planning, blasting, and production.

DCT can display real-time information on the coal supply chain and marketing. Here are some features of DCT:

Overview: A summary of information in the digital control tower for quick condition monitoring.
Mine Value Change: Detailed information on the current condition (snapshot) and history in the coal supply chain (PIT to PORT).
Marketing: Information related to marketing areas and commercial interactions with Kideco’s customers.
Coal Chain Simulation: A specific feature to assist in regularly simulating the coal supply chain based on actual data.

In 2022, KIDECO developed the ‘Nembayu’ application to enhance occupational health and safety managements. The Nembayu apps is accessible via the website or a mobile phone.

Kideco also developed a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for optimizes employee attendance and improves digital-based fuel procurement and consumption management systems.

Kideco established a land monitoring system based on geospatial data, providing real-time information regarding:

• Land survey data processing.
• Land acquisition and compensation.
• Communication tools between teams, related to plans and actualization.
• Land permit information updates.
• Security patrol information.

This system achieves data source uniformity, synchronization of job objective among work teams, effective information delivery, and speedy decision-making.
